Tungsten Channel Ring Blank

An 8mm tungsten blank with a 4mm channel for your inlay.

A straightforward channel blank for building your own inlay ring. The 4mm channel gives you a defined bed for the material while the rest of the tungsten blank stays visible.

Working tips: On tungsten, make the last grit of sandpaper the one that takes the CA off the outside of the ring. That keeps the finish flat instead of concave.

Tungsten carbide is the hardest ring material available. It will not scratch, and it holds the finish it left the shop with for the life of the ring. It also has a satisfying weight on the hand that no other blank matches.

Engraving

Choose Ring engraving above the quantity and pick the type. Fonts: Block or Script.

  • Stainless steel and titanium are polished to a mirror before engraving. Ceramic and tungsten need no extra polish.
  • Our engraving is light, just barely felt with a finger. Want it deeper on stainless or titanium? Say so in your order notes.
  • Font size is set to suit your text, usually under half the ring width and centered.
