Our PTFE Tape (commonly called plumber's tape) is a simple addition to your setup that can save a lot of headaches when working with CA glue. We recommend wrapping your ring mandrels before applying finishes on the Slow Speed Ring Turner. If a drop of CA runs where it shouldn't, the non-stick properties of PTFE make it much easier to recover without permanently gluing your ring to the mandrel. This practice is part of Thomas' recommended finishing process and has proven to be one of the easiest ways to avoid a ruined project.
