Working tips: Keep it cool while sanding so the resin does not load up, then work through the grits and polish.
Resin blanks are cast in color, so the pattern runs through the whole ring and can be turned, sanded and polished like wood.
Recommended use
You may need a chuck, a boring tool, and cutting tools suited to your type of lathe.
Mount the blank using your normal ring-turning setup, shape the outside and inside to the profile you want, then work through your sanding and polishing sequence until the resin is clear and glossy.
