Tapered Silicon Ring Mandrel

The BRS Tapered Silicone Ring Mandrel grips your ring securely from the inside, giving you a centered, slip-free hold while you work on the outside surface of the band.

Whether you’re sanding or polishing, this mandrel keeps the ring stable without damaging the interior wall. The ribbed silicone taper accommodates U.S. ring sizes 4 through 15 and won’t compress or deform under pressure.

It’s fitted with a 6mm (0.24") steel shaft, perfect for mounting in a handheld drill or on your lathe using a Jacobs-style chuck.
(It likely won't fit rotary tools due to shaft thickness.)

Total length is 84.88mm (3.34"), and the silicone taper spans from 13.3mm (0.52") to 25mm (0.98") in diameter.

🔧 Note:
While excellent for polishing and finish work, we don’t recommend this mandrel for cutting or aggressive shaping.
The flexibility of the silicone introduces a small amount of run-out, which can affect precision when using cutting tools.
